3 Products Complete a Sophisticated, Flexible Workplace

Workplace design is going through radical transformations. Residential and hospitality influences permeate contemporary office design and co-working spaces continue to multiply around the globe, bringing work-hard-play-hard aesthetics into mainstream conceptions of good design.

The Nuez Collection

Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola introduced the Nuez collection, winner of a Red Dot Award and Interior Design HiP Award, as a group of chairs and stools that serve the sitter. “A chair has a personality and engenders emotional relationships with its users and owners,” Urquiola says. She designed the piece with a graceful back made of ribbed thermopolymer and ample padding. Both the stool and the dining chair are perfect crossover options, equally at home in a boardroom, restaurant, or home.

The Capri Lounge Chair

This Red Dot Award-winning lounge chair by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga features a unique ergonomic shape ideal for seated work in office spaces. It is also highly customizable. The Dado sofa represents the first collaboration between Andreu World and Swiss designer Alfredo Häberli. This modular sofa won the Best of NeoCon 2018 Silver award and a HiP Award for its clever use of modularity and subtle design details.
