Balance, celebrating its quarter-century anniversary, the time had come to update the versatile dining table by Arnold Merckx. The tops have been re-engineered in Duramas, a proprietary composition of walnut or oak glued to poplar to deliver the look and durability of solid wood while harvesting precious species more sparingly.

Both the oval and round versions, in eight sizes, accept a central leaf to expand the party. And there are four new finishes: Rosa, deep green, black, and natural. What hasn’t changed is the pedestal base, a robust cylinder in concrete or a fluted column in brushed aluminum.
