Bentley Mills to Launch Two Art-Inspired Carpet Collections

Impasto by Bentley Mills.

Fine-art painting is the inspiration behind two new lines of carpeting by Bentley Mills. The designs, Impasto and Secco, which the California-based company is expected to launch in May, bring abstract blocks, clean lines, and vibrant splashes of color to the floor.

Named after the textured technique used by such renowned painters as Rembrandt, Vincent van Gogh, and Jackson Pollock, Impasto is defined by thick strokes of color and light splashes of contrast. The smaller-scale Secco emulates the appearance of pigments applied to dry plaster walls by displaying complex textures.

Both collections push the limits of tufting and color capabilities. Manufactured with the latest high-performance fiber technology, each new line utilizes Antron Lumena Solution-Dyed Type 6,6 Nylon for ultimate cleanability, durability, and color flexibility. Available as both broadloom and carpet tile, each style is available in 10 colorways, Cradle to Cradle–certified, and manufactured in a LEED Gold–certified facility.
