Call For Entries: “Dress Up the D-Lux” Contest

is challenging designers and artists from New York and the tri-state area to use its D-Lux chair as a blank canvas—for a cause. Entrants are tasked with turning the sleek design into an eye-catching artistic statement for a chance to have their entry auctioned off at the Design Trust for Public Space’s annual

Art+Design Benefit Auction

. The winner will score a ticket to the fête, which takes place this year on November 7 to the theme of “urban agriculture” and honors design heavyweight David Rockwell and restaurant entrepreneur Danny Meyer.
