Coverings, held at McCormick Place in Chicago from April 18–21, once again presents a spectacular array of show features – all for FREE. The Installation Design Showcase features an exciting new courtyard layout including treats for visitors. Watch the work of leading Five Star installers and top designers come to life in booth 6245. The four hospitality themed vignettes include a spa lobby, bar/lounge, boutique store, and hotel lobby.

The CID Awards & Opening Night Celebration celebrates exceptional work in the design and installation of tile and stone in both residential and commercial projects. Enjoy a live showcase of the winning projects and kick off Coverings 2016 with a Taste of Chicago themed reception.

The Chicago Mosaic School offers classes by rigorously trained art professionals who teach process, materials and the techniques and skills in contemporary and classical Mosaic Arts. The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) students will present their tiled benches after an introductory course taken this semester. Finished benches will be judged by Interior Design Magazine Deputy Editor, Edie Cohen, for design and a NTCA 5 Star Certified Contractor for installation.
