Fall Market Products: XYZ Integrated Architecture

What goes around comes around—and around—in Delirium, a swirling seat by
Levan Lominashvili. The chief designer of the Tbilisi, Georgia, firm envisioned “a tribute to negotiating the balance between artificial and natural, techne and psyche.” But at the end of the day, the result reminds Lominashvili of the spaghetti-bowl intersections that intertwine on major highways. Sheet steel twisted and formed by hand is painted fire-engine red (for spec sticklers, Pantone 1805C). Custom colors and
even different shapes are possible for the chair, which in its standard profile
measures 32 1/2 inches high and deep by 62 wide.
