FENDI Casa Designs Virgin Gorda Penthouse

FENDI Casa

, the Italian home furnishings designer, has been tapped to design a 1, 334-square-foot penthouse with sweeping views of the Caribbean. The project is part of

Oil Nut Bay

, a 300-acre residential resort development on Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands.

Accessible only by helicopter or boat, the property consists of 88 villas and cliff-side suites and is being developed by

Victor International Corporation

. In FENDI Casa’s one-bedroom unit, there’s an expansive living room measuring 24’10” by 21’8″ inches. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors open up to a deck and a 25-by-14-foot swimming pool.

“The property’s beautiful Caribbean backdrop compliments our furnishings perfectly, providing us with an ideal environment in which to showcase FENDI Casa’s trademark style,” says Raffaella Vignatelli, President of Luxury Living USA-FENDI Casa.

In order to compliment the sweeping cliff-side water views, FENDI Casa’s design relies on a neutral color palette that includes champagne, ivory, sand, and white. Premiere and Prestige sofas in champagne with “Villa Borghese” embroideries grace the living room. A FENDI Casa Murano Via Lattea chandelier in Porcellana hangs from the ceiling, while a Sand Pryncess king-size bed is featured in the master bedroom. Lacquered wood, leather and velvet are used throughout. Outdoor furnishings like a day bed and sofa are constructed largely of canvas.
