HOK Miami Names New Director of Interior Design
With over twenty five years experience in the interior design industry, Marlene M. Liriano has been named the new director of interior design for
HOK
‘s Florida office. After more than ten years with the design firm
Perkins + Will
, where she served as the interior design director, Liriano has expressed great enthusiasm about her new role at HOK.
“This is an opportune time to provide thought leadership and innovative design in the Florida market,” says Liriano. “It’s clearly what clients are looking for. The improved economic conditions for HOK’s key sectors—corporate, healthcare, education—are providing the firm with a platform for exceptional work.”
These are sectors for which Liriano’s expertise is particularly well suited. Her resume boasts a number of projects in higher education, government, aviation, and technology, as well as high profile projects including

. Liriano is a member of the
International Interior Design Association

, and in 2006 the Miami chapter of the

In her new role at HOK, Liriano will help guide the firm’s design direction. Current projects at HOK Miami include the Mixed Use and College of Business building at her alma mater,
