IMM Cologne: Seven Super Storage Solutions
1. Showroom Finland
Kasaa shelving, designed by Teemu Jarvi, is made from recycled cardboard. The material is sturdy, but lightweight, and water-based adhesives are used in its construction. The system is modular, has just two component pieces and doesn’t need any glue.

Someone, somewhere, decreed that furniture has to work harder. One of the most charming outcomes of this edict, Edam, by Gert Batenburg for Montis, turns an ottoman into a clever piece of storage and does it with great wit, by slicing off part of the ottoman’s diameter and adding not only a drawer, but pockets for remotes, phones and/or papers.
