It’s 7pm. Time for a Fab Themed Design Event

It’s been quite a year for Fab.com. Since launching last June, the 7.5 million+ member social-commerce platform has been offering people around the globe unparalleled access to everyday design products from its offices in New York (recently featured on Interior Design), London, and Berlin.

Last month, Fab introduced themed week-long shops beginning Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm. But don’t expect the weekend clearance items typical of most e-commerce sites.

So far, the shops have included tools for the perfect office, products designed and made in Brooklyn, and Pork….yes Pork (think piggy banks, pigskin footballs, bacon chocolate, cured ham, and even bacon lube).

Starting this Friday, Fab will highlight Dutch design in a shop that features iconic Dutch brands including Droog and Pastoe, as well as up-and-coming Dutch designers Alissia Melka Teichroew, Frederik Roije, Jorine Oosterhoff and Frank Willems.

“Dutch design is known for being colorful, quirky and fun while still being cutting-edge—just like Fab,” says Bradford Shellhammer, Fab’s Founder and Chief Design Officer and the brains behind these shops. “We could think of no better part of the world to look to as we launch our themed evening sales.”
