Lea Ceramiche Mimics Reclaimed Wood with Antibacterial Porcelain Tile
Reclaimed wood is great. But there’s the occasional risk of a splinter. So Lea Ceramiche supplies the look with the Bio Recover collection of porcelain tile, which is antibacterial to boot. The shading and irregularities that time and wear typically leave on real wood are re-created through digital printing. With rectified or natural edges, the 8-inch-wide planks come in lengths of 48 or 71 inches and three finishes: Golden Flame, Old Walnut, and Warm Cream. Add accents of blue, red, or white, or consider classic houndstooth. Recycled content is 40 percent, none of it wood.
