Mid-Century Modern Design Hunting at #IDgiants

This week in Palm Springs, California, Interior Design brings together over 100 designers from the #IDgiants firms at the magazine’s fourth annual Giants of Design event, which explores creativity, problem solving and innovation—across disciplines—to deliver an intriguing conference of inspiring ideas and unique experiences. Before the event’s official kickoff on Monday, editor in chief Cindy Allen and a group of designers found time to go design hunting in the mid-century modern mecca, stopping by such favorites as Just Modern, Studio 111, Hedge and Trina Turk. The “spoils of the hunt” included a rhino head, ceramic owls, a set of orange chairs and a vintage Japanese table lamp.
