Nancy Callahan Wins Wood-Mode Kitchen Lighting IQ Contest

Congratulations to Nancy Callahan, IIDA, winner of the Wood-Mode Kitchen Lighting IQ contest! The owner of California-based firm Callahan Design Group, Callahan (pictured left) will receive $10,000 in Wood-Mode products and an all-expenses-paid trip to NeoCon, which includes an exclusive tour of Wood-Mode’s showroom. “Kitchens are one of my favorite rooms to design, so I can’t wait to use this prize on an upcoming project and guide my clients toward Wood-Mode,” says Callahan, who has the brand’s cabinetry in her Oakland residence.

A NeoCon newcomer, Callahan plans to attend CEU seminars and get the low-down on the never-before-seen products slated to hit the industry this year. “The market in California isn’t as big as it used to be, so I’m really looking forward to this experience,” she says. Callahan, a 25-year veteran of interior design, works on both residential and commercial projects, but admits that her true passion is translating her client’s visions into something tangible and beautiful. “I look at the client and try to make every job about them.”
