New Product Roundup: 66 Editors’ Picks in Flooring

From porcelain tiles and hand-tufted wool rugs to handwoven Italian leather, here are 66 fresh flooring products that made a strong impression on our editors last year, with all of them being included in one of our Market Tabloid issues. Among them, designer Elisa Strozyk’s Wooden Carpet rugs for Boewer might look like faux bois, but don’t be fooled: they’re the real deal. Meanwhile, for her new Color collection, Barbara Barran took inspiration from the world and history alike. Some of the brightest specimens were adapted from scarves she saw at a craft show in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, with all four resulting designs hand knotted by Nepali artisans. LaSelva’s Atlas encaustic tiles might resemble maps, but they’re actually mazes inspired by the designs of Antoni Gaudí. See the slideshow for descriptions of all 66 products.
