New Products: 17 Fresh Fabrics and Wallcoverings

From plush cotton-blend velvet and punchy vinyl substrate to customized magnetic decals, you won’t want to miss these 17 recent product introductions in the fabric and wallcoverings category. In NLXL’s Obsession wallpaper, Daniel Rozensztroch finds beauty and charm in vast collection of everyday objects (spoons, brushes, and ukuleles among them). The serene vertical stripe pattern that is Washi was devised by Dutch mega architect Piet Boon, whose creativity was sparked by Japanese paper of the handmade variety. And, Calico Wallpaper’s Inverted Spaces is a six-piece wall covering collection that’s, well, out of this world. NASA space satellite photography is manipulated into imagined universes that is then printed as a nonrepeating mural. (All products have also been featured in Interior Design’s Fall Market Tabloid.)
