Nucraft Teams Up with Joseph Jeup for a Suite of Sophisticated Credenzas
In multi-use meeting spaces where work and entertainment go hand-in-hand, credenzas are required to offer more than simple storage. The pursuit of exceptional craftsmanship and design may have limitations when it comes to function and flexibility. Fortunately, a manufacturer and design team has risen to the occasion and made a collection of functional credenzas with sophisticated design.
With the Forena™ suite of credenzas from Nucraft, storage is only the beginning. With a desire to bring premium residential furniture qualities to the modern workplace, Nucraft enlisted Joseph Jeup to bring his instinctual ability, innate passion and expertise to design Forena™. No stranger to Nucraft, Jeup also designed the popular Preston table and Talis consoles. “The concept around Forena™ was a gathering space. It has all the utility you need when getting together as a group, but it is disguised as a beautiful piece of furniture” Jeup says about the finished product.
Forena™ is offered in four styles —three credenzas at different heights and a Media Island—each nuanced for various workspaces. Adding to the residential appeal, Nucraft offers a myriad of exclusive finishes and top materials. Vertical pulls that resemble jewelry adorn each version of the four-piece collection while unique veneer layups and a durable high shine lacquer finish make it a luxurious yet versatile piece.
Equipped with options for refrigeration, waste and recycling, power ports to charge a variety of devices, and audio-visual accommodations, Forena™ credenzas offer all the options required for a formal meeting space, but meticulously concealed behind an elegant case. The two height options, Conference height (30″) and Buffet height (36″), have two different base options: a standard plinth base or metal base. With the variety of design options available, the Forena™ collection is as versatile as it is stylish.
Adding a more informal counterpart to the Buffet and Conference height credenza is the Low Credenza. The Low Credenza is perfect for community and creative spaces that center around a monitor. The 25” tall Low Credenza stores tech equipment with pull-out equipment trays for ease and accessibility. The available upholstered cushions offer additional seating making the credenza not only a place to store items, but a gathering place as well.
Great for community and creative spaces alike, the Media Island is certainly not the simple coffee table it appears to be. Not only does it boast exterior power for easy device charging, a 50-liter drawer mini fridge on one side of the island reveals chilled beverage storage– perfect for long brainstorming sessions or a movie night at home. The opposite side of the island features an open cubby for soundbar accommodation with an additional cabinet below for added storage. Similar to the Low Credenza, upholstered cushions can be added to both sides of the island for additional seating.
