Peter Pepper Reissues Matrix Clock for 60th Anniversary
In honor of Peter Pepper Products‘ 60th anniversary, the company is reissuing its celebrated Matrix Clock. Early Peter Pepper products included wall-sconce candelabras, metal sculptures, geometric wood and aluminum boxes, occasional tables, walnut file, letter trays—and clocks. In limited production, the Matrix clock, for the first time, will be available to the public in addition to the design trade.
As the company grew, Peter Pepper started the category of accessories for the newly emerging contract furniture market. Pepper became one of the top sources for well-designed contract accessories. The reissued Matrix Clock honors the vision and focus of its founder Peter Pepper and celebrates the company’s continued commitment to high quality office design for contemporary interiors. Pepper said, years ago, “The most important feature to be considered when selecting an accessory is good design.” The family-run company still stands by this tenant today.
The Matrix Clock presents an interesting dimensional perspective and may be mounted vertically or horizontally. The frames are made in solid walnut with a steel grid mounted in front of a satin-black background. Color cubes and accents are styled in the House & Garden colors for 1957, certified for use in the Peter Pepper Products line by House & Garden magazine.
