Seating: Zao Zuo

While he’s best known as the designer of furniture, retail spaces, and special collections for très French brands including Montblanc and Hermès, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance settled on an East-meets-West theme for his debut collection for the Chinese brand. Belle-Île is named for an island off the coast of Brittany, where he grew up; the sofa’s profile embodies the soft curves of the Atlantic peninsula’s coastline. Its frame is covered in polyester-linen in colorways vanilla and purple. Other pieces in the collection include a coordinating club chair as well as a bed and sofa inspired by the architecture of cloisters, with positive and negative spaces carved into frames of white ash.
