Stylish Seating: 27 New Products for Lounging
From cotton-velvet sofas and powder-coated steel barstools to leather upholstered daybeds, these recent products in the seating category make lounging look ultra-stylish. The organic backrests of Kati Meyer-Brühl’s Mosspink series were designed to resemble supersize pebbles. The covers, some appliquéd, remove for easy maintenance, while barely-there aluminum feet conjure a floating effect. Meanwhile, Patricia Urquiola offers a contemporary look with her Tufty-Time ’15 sectional in cotton-viscose blend with polyurethane foam cushions for B&B Italia. And, sculpture meets comfort with Jonathan Adler’s Aspen sofa made of cotton-acrylic-blend upholstery and solid mahogany legs. All products have also been featured in Interior Design‘s Fall Market Tabloid.
