Submissions for Virtual HiP Awards Open May 1

Though architects and designers will not convene at NeoCon this June given the current pandemic, Interior Design’s 2020 HiP Awards will go on, albeit in a new format. The seventh annual HiP Awards, which honor the most innovative products and design minds in the industry, now will take place via a two-part virtual ceremony hosted by Editor in Chief Cindy Allen. 

The ceremony, which is sure to generate a festive atmosphere on par with past live events, will be broadcast on Facebook Live during DesignTV by SANDOW; Interior Design’s NeoCon Edition programming will take place June 12 for Products and June 19 for People. We invite you to start thinking about submissions for this year’s awards ceremony now—submissions open May 1 and close May 27. Finalists will be announced June 9. 

Submission details can be found here and eligibility requirements are as follows:

HiP PRODUCTS: You must have planned to exhibit at NeoCon 2020 to enter a product to the HiP Awards. Products must be manufactured or set to go into production between January 2020 and December 2020. Products submissions that have been previously published and/or have been part of other competitions will be accepted.

HiP PEOPLE: You can enter leading designers or industry leaders from across the globe. If you are nominating a person for a manufacturer-related category, the manufacturer must be a NeoCon exhibitor.
