Switzerland’s Ruckstuhl Partners With Edelman Leather

Stateside fans of Switzerland’s

Ruckstuhl

now have swifter access, thanks to an alliance with Edelman Leather. During Chicago’s NeoCon trade fair, the luxury leather specialist inaugurated its status as the exclusive distributor of Ruckstuhl rugs in North America. Samples have since rolled out to Edelman showrooms in New York, Los Angeles, and Dania Beach, Florida, and the remaining locations will follow in September.

Founded in 1881, Ruckstuhl is renowned for an innovative use of materials including stainless steel, coir, and even goat’s hair. The manufacturer recruits A-list outside talents, such as Interior Design Hall of Fame members Matteo Thun and Patricia Urquiola, and also offers house-designed patterns. Among the latter, Bilevel is a wool-linen stripe boasting several border options.
