Grace of London Launches First Collection

Grace of London

, a bespoke furniture company from mosaic artist Robert James Grace, launches its first collection, The Art of Bathing, this month. “After spending many years designing and creating handmade bespoke furniture predominantly within the mosaic sector for clients, I decided to expand the design portfolio to encompass an entirely new host of styles and ideas,” says Grace.

For his debut collection, Grace designed a line of high-end bath tubs, each piece consisting of approximately 15,000 hand-painted, hand-cut pieces of glass incorporating white and yellow gold together with

. The creation of these extravagant tubs relies on an experienced team of world renowned craftsmen specializing in fabrics, gold leaf, carpentry, specialist finishes and upholstery, several of whom are Royal Warrant holders.

Explains Grace, “The bathroom is a highly personal place, a sanctuary where one can let ones thoughts drift, where time and pressure cease to exist and I wanted to enhance this experience with a collection of art baths.”
