Visibility and Kos Collaborate on Circular Bath Basin

“We wanted to give personality to an object that is part of everyday life,” note Joseph Guerra and Sina Sohrab, co-founders of New York industrial design studio Visibility. They’re referring to Beam, their circular bathroom basin that integrates a handy shelf within its circumference. The Cristalplant unit, measuring 44 cm across by 18 high, is offered in classic white, warm terracotta, and dove gray; a coordinating vanity, in natural or gray ash, is also available. For those pursuing LEED, the bio-based mineral-polyester solid surface, largely composed of resins derived from vegetable starch and OGM-free maize, is proudly eco-friendly.
