Kartell And Laufen Reimagine An Icon For The Bathroom
Reunited and it looks so good! Thirteen years after the Italian design giant and the Swiss sanitaryware specialist’s first collaboration, the pair return with Bathroom Collection 2.0. A highlight is Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s iconic 1967 Componibili storage tower, now reimagined by Ferruccio Laviani—who has worked with Kartell for more than 30 years—as a columnar washbasin with cantilevered countertop and slide-open drawers. The original is well-represented in dens, bedrooms, and studios worldwide, but this is the design’s first iteration for wet zones, blurring the boundaries between living area and bath. The new interpretation uses an innovative glazed-steel composite to broaden the range of possible colors—an integral part of Kartell’s DNA. kartell.com, laufen.com
